POLITICAL DRAFT-PROGRAM OF THE MOVEMENT FOR UNIFICATION (MU)

The Movement for Unification (MU) is a political organization, which attempts to solve the unresolved Albanian issue.

GOALS OF ORGANIZATION

Considering that:

- Albanian people live divided amongst a number of states against their will and as a consequence the Albanian issue remains unresolved, and has not even been directed towards a right solution;
- The Albanian people who live in Kosova do not exercise sovereignty in their territory and their right of self-determination of nations has not been recognized. As a consequence of this situation, the economic, political and legal future of Kosova is completely uncertain and as such remains part of the unresolved Albanian issue;
- Albanian lands in Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro are under classic occupation and thus their liberation cannot be achieved through institutions set up by the occupiers;
- Only by being united in one unique state, the Albanian people can fully exploit their potential towards economic, political and cultural development;
 - Only with just and complete solution of the Albanian issue, Albanian people become a factor of peace and an equal partner in European and global integrations and development;

And, considering that legal and inalienable right of nations to live free and united, in accordance with right of nations for self-determination:

MU strives to unite the Albanian people into one unique sovereign, free and democratic state

In parallel with the main objective, – national unification, – and the obligations relating to its politics extension, MU will be active in taking into consideration people’s day-to-day concerns, trying to solve them, but always in accordance with and subordinated by the main goal.

NECESSITY OF EXISTENCE

Being that:

- The politics that dominates the Albanian political scene cannot be directed towards rightful solution of the Albanian issue, amongst others, because it is partial and institutionalist;
- The international factors concerning the unresolved Albanian issue in the first place consider their own interests, therefore we cannot expect from others to solve our problems:

MU considers that in order to realize their objective, the Albanian people need a nationwide politics which is capable of rightfully addressing for solution and rightfully solving our national issue. This is primarily a vital need for development of Albanian nation in parity with others and secondly, to create a sustainable peace in the Balkans and beyond.

METHODS AND MEANS

In accordance with its political and organizational development and in accordance with circumstances, MU defines necessary duties for fulfilling its fundamental objective. The nature of duties defines also the nature of means and methods.

MU, as a legal organization, will use all the means of institutional and extra-institutional struggle.

MU is opposed to terrorism as a method of struggle for realization of political goals.

MU is opposed to the incitement of racial, national and religious hatred.

PRINCIPLES

MU considers people to be the main factor for liberation and unification of the Nation. Every attempt to undervalue the internal factor while overvaluing the external factor, MY considers mistaken and damaging.

MU does not ignore the external factor, but it considers that the external factor may be subsidiary to the internal factor.

MU supports just struggle of peoples for freedom and is against any repression of peoples, against any colonialism or neo-colonialism.

MU is against racism and every ideology that incites disruption amongst peoples and separation on a religious basis.

BELIEFS

The aspiration of Albanian people to live free and united has remained immortal despite the unending attempts of the conquerors to repress it.

Well organized people around a right political concept and determined in this objective, necessarily will find favorable international circumstances and will realize its aspirations.

The natural and unstoppable development of Albanian nation, despite the obstructions of international and internal political factors, will make easier the struggle for successful realization of national unification.
